Get to Know Us

At Airdrie Ultras Soccer Academy we focus on fundamentals and fun in a supportive, adult-led environment. No need for parent volunteers, just relax and enjoy watching your child play. We are dedicated to building a strong foundation for players, and helping them grow with confidence as they progress in their soccer journey and develop a love for the game.

We created our program with small class sizes to give kids more hands-on guidance, more touches on the ball, and better opportunities to learn. With a focus on 1v1 scenarios players build confidence and key skills like dribbling under pressure, winning the ball and decision making.

Meet Our Head Coach

Coach Bryan is a lifelong soccer player with a strong passion for the game. Originally from Scotland, his love for soccer began at an early age.

After moving to Canada, he continued to develop his skills and trained with various soccer programs that have allowed him to travel to Costa Rica, USA, and also back home in Scotland.

With a deep understanding and obsession with the game, along with his love of working with and helping kids, Coach Bryan founded his own soccer program in Airdrie. His training emphasizes dribbling, ball mastery and core fundamentals that will set a strong foundation for young players as they hopefully move on to join competitive teams.

Coach Bryan is a lifelong Rangers FC supporter and his favourite player of all time is Brian Laudrup. As a coach, he genuinely enjoys every part of working with young players—from teaching new skills to building teamwork and confidence. One of the many things that brings a smile to his face is seeing the kids arrive wearing the jerseys of today’s global icons, like Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappé, Neymar, and Yamal. It’s a wonderful reminder of the passion and excitement soccer can inspire in young fans.

Meet Our Assistant Coach

Coach Sierra discovered her passion for soccer at just six years old and fell in love with the field at first sight. One of her most memorable experiences in soccer was on her ninth birthday, when she won the bronze medal in a penalty shootout during her first-ever competitive soccer tournament. From her memory, it was a crazy curveball and the crowd went wild!

As Sierra advanced her skills, she moved up to Division 1 competitive soccer. She found that striker and right wing were the best positions for her while playing at a high level, though she also enjoys trying out different positions when playing for her high school team.

Sierra loves demonstrating techniques and tricks for the kids, especially shooting drills. Her favourite drills are when the players have to race each other and their teammates have to cheer them on from the sidelines. Seeing the kids smiling and trying their best is truly rewarding for her.
